Food Sorting
This volunteer opportunity is available every weekday between 8:30am and noon. Sorting can also be scheduled at other times for organized group volunteers. Groups who want to take advantage of this opportunity should range in size from 5 to 15 people. Sorting is a fun and social way to help the NH Food Bank! Email info@nhfoodbank.org for more information.

Office Support
Do you have office skills? We need help with data entry, filing, and mailings. You can use your computer and clerical skills to make a meaningful contribution of time to the Food Bank outside the warehouse setting.

Food Drops

Volunteers help with the unloading and distribution of food at public sites every Saturday from 9am to 12pm during the warm months of the year. 3 to 6 volunteers would be ideal for Saturday food drops.

Special Events & Projects
We always need help with our special events and projects. These include helping improve our facilities through painting and cleaning, joining a crew to help us glean crops from harvested fields, or helping us plan annual events like the Oktoberfest in September.

Attention Food Bank Member Agencies: Give Time and Receive Food!
Save your agency money and time by helping the Food Bank rapidly process salvaged food through our volunteer credit program.  Your agency can earn 10 pounds of food for every volunteer hour you donate to the Food Bank. The credit you earn from this can be used for up to half your monthly shopping bill at the Food Bank.* A group of ten working for 3 hours can earn up to 300lbs of food for your agency. Contact Michael for more information.
*credits may not be used for items on the Purchased Food List.
