Volunteers bring their hearts and their hands to their work at the New Hampshire Food Bank. Their efforts are vital to our mission of feeding the hungry in our state.

In 2011, our volunteers dedicated more than 20,000 total hours to the NH Food Bank - that's the equivalent of $443,107! Volunteers are a central component of the NH Food Bank's efforts to help the 1 in 10 New Hampshire residents struggling to make ends meet - including children, senior citizens and entire families. Our warehouse and office are abuzz with hunger-relief activity, and your help is needed more than ever.

• The NH Food Bank recently gained a new bread donor and we now have a lot of bread to move through our warehouse.  We're looking for volunteers to help us sort it so we can distribute it better.  Call us if you're interested in helping out!
  
• While winter is just starting to roll in, we're already looking ahead to spring.  Our production garden utilizes lots of volunteer hours to get everything going, and we're starting to recruit now.  Let us know if you're interested in helping with field preparation and planting.
