The Kiss 108 Winter Games are in full swing, and you can win gift cards to Hannaford Supermarkets for yourself and the Food Bank by answering ski-related trivia questions on the Winter Games website! Click here to go to the trivia site- answer at least 3 questions correctly, and you will be entered into a raffle to win a $100 gift card to Hannaford. There will be one winner each week, and every time Kiss 108 gives away a $100 gift card, they will also donate a $150 gift card to the NH Food Bank. Play often, tune in to hear updates, and visit the Winter Games website to see what's happening next! The Winter Games team will be traveling to the following ski locations throughout New Hampshire all February to run games and give away prizes:
February 10th: 2nd Annual Soup Soiree at Butters Fine Food & Wine, ConcordOn Wednesday, February 10th, join us at Butters Fine Food & Wine located at 70 N Main Street in Concord from 4:30-6:30pm to taste gourmet, handmade soups and wine samples from M.S. Walker. Admission is $10 or 3 cans of soup, all of which will benefit the NH Food Bank. February 22nd - 28th: Food Drive at Amesbury Sports Park, Amesbury MAThe Amesbury Sports Park will hold a week-long Canned Soup drive to benefit the NH Food Bank during the NH public school vacation week from February 22nd to February 28th. Guests who bring a can of soup or other non-perishable food item will receive $3 off a 3-hour snow tubing pass, a 3-hour Junkyard Terrain Pass, or a Junkyard & Tubing Combo Pass. The Amesbury Sports Park boasts the steepest snow tubing hill in New England, and their Junkyard Terrain Park features recycled junk buried in snow for skiers and snowboarders to jump and ride. All January and February: Food Drive at Saunders at Rye Harbor, RyeSaunders at Rye Harbor restaurant has partnered with the Food Bank to bring in much needed donations while providing diners with a discount! During the months of January and February, bring in food donations for the Food Bank when you dine at Saunders and the restaurant will deduct the value of your donation from your bill (up to $25). Make sure to bring your receipt for the purchase of your food items in order to establish the value of your donation. Youths ski on Sunday to support the Food Bank!Every Sunday during this winter's season, lift tickets for youths age 6-12 are $12, and $1 of each ticket will be donated to the Food Bank. Take advantage of this great deal (which saves you $29 off the regular youth lift ticket price of $41) and help those who are less fortunate at the same time. March 5-7: Food Drive at the New Hampshire State Home Show, ManchesterThe Home Builders & Remodelers Association of New Hampshire is having their annual Home Show Expo at the Center of NH in Manchester from March 5-7. Bring non-perishable food items to donate to the Food Bank, and you will receive $3 off your admission cost! The Republic Cafe shares proceeds with the Food BankOn Monday, January 25th, the Republic Cafe opened at 1069 Elm Street in Manchester. Starting on Tuesday, January 26th, the Republic is peldging 3% of their gross sales to the Food Bank, including all coffee, meals, and the bar. Check out Manchester's new hot spot on February 9th and 23rd, March 9th and 23rd, April 6th and 20th, and so on, and 3% of your bill will go towards running the Food Bank's programs that fight hunger in NH.

The New Hampshire Food Bank has partnered with the Bread & Butter Project to raise funds and feed the hungry in our state. From November 2009 to March 2010, the Bread & Butter Project will donate proceeds from the sale of their clothing to help meet the increased need throughout the northeast. April 14th: Taste of the Nation ManchesterJoin us at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester on Wednesday, April 14th for Share Our Strength's Taste of the Nation Manchester to savor culinary creations prepared by more than 50 of Manchester's hottest chefs and mixologists. Enjoy a sense-sational event featuring the finest food, worldly wines, scintillating spirits, live entertainment, and an incredible silent and live auction. Doors will open at 5pm for VIPs and 6pm for General Admission ticket holders. This event is dedicated to making sure no kid in America grows up hungry, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the NH Food Bank. Tickets are on sale now- General Admission tickets are $65 per person and there is a limited quantity of VIP tickets for $100 per person. The Shaw's Neighborhood Rewards Program donates a portion of your purchases to the Food Bank!
Here is how to participate in the new Neighborhood Rewards Program: - Register your Shaw's Rewards Card for the program at www.shaws.com/neighborhoodrewards. Enter the NH Food Bank's ID number, which is 49001018472.
- Shop on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, and 1% of your purchases will automatically be donated to the NH Food Bank. Shaw's will mail us a check every 3 months for all proceeds.
- Re-register your card every year to continue supporting the Food Bank through your Shaw's shopping trips.
In 2008, the Shaw's Receipt Rewards Program raised over $7,500 for the NH Food Bank. Let's keep it up in 2009 with this new program!
