CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — A program that helps people with financial struggles gain skills and experience in the food industry will be showcased during Gov. Maggie Hassan’s inauguration next week.Hassan, who was elected to a second term in November, will be inaugurated at noon Thursday. That afternoon, she also will host an open house at the Statehouse, featuring food prepared by the New Hampshire Food Bank’s Culinary Job Training Program. Guests also will be encouraged to bring shelf-stable items, such as peanut butter, soup and canned tuna, to donate to the food bank.The open house also will include entertainment for children, such as a scavenger hunt and activities provided by the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department and the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire.
