KINGSTON – The NH Renaissance Faire, held annually in May, is a charity event. After expenses are paid, the remaining money is given to charity. This year, the recipients were NH Food Bank and Rockingham County Nutrition and Meals on Wheels.
Meals on Wheels received $13,884 from the NHRF. NH Food Bank received $19,325 – enough to distribute 38,650 meals .
This year, the faire attracted 4,560 attendees.
“The reason The NH Renaissance Faire can do this is all the volunteers and everyone who supports our work,” said faire creator Marghi Bean. “Our volunteers are amazing. We could never do it without all these good people. We raised $33,209 for our charities. As we say at the Faire, huzzah!”
