Hunger Action Month

Hunger Action Month (September) is the Feeding America network’s nationwide awareness campaign designed to mobilize the public to take action on the issue of hunger. The campaign brings attention to the reality of food insecurity in the United States and promotes ways for individuals across the U.S. to get involved in the movement to help end hunger.

Canstruction is an event in which a structure of an organizations choosing is built using canned or packaged food items. Structures will be judged the week of 9/26/16. Once completed, all canned and packaged foods are donated to the food bank for distribution to those in need.

Mac Off Competition

Sign up for the third annual Mac Off Competition and see how much Mac & Cheese your team can pack. An average adult packs 160 Mac & Cheese meals in 1 hour. All Mac Packs will be distributed to families in need. We will host 5 lines with 10 team members per line at 2 hour intervals from 8:00a – 3:00p.

7th Annual WBS Golf Tournament

This annual golf tournament to benefit the New Hampshire Food Bank will be held at Manchester Country Club with an 11:00a shotgun scramble format. All funds raised at the golf outing will support the New Hampshire Food Bank’s efforts to expand food distribution and innovative educational programs to reach those who need it most.

Taste of the Nation at LaBelle Winery from 6:00p-9:00p (VIP admission 5:00p – 9:00p) is a premier culinary event featuring cuisine from New Hampshire’s top chefs, guest mixologists, beer, specialty cocktails, fabulous entertainment, raffle and an extensive silent auction.

A food drive will be hosted at high school football games in communities across New Hampshire. All food donated during this weekend will go to local food pantries.

Nashua Telegraph Fall Food & Wine Festival

The Fall Food & Wine Festival will take place at LaBelle Winery and is hosted by the Nashua Telegraph. There will be two sessions for this event: Noon-2:00p and 3:00p-5:00p. This is a unique wine tasting featuring New England wineries, food, artisans and vendors. The Telegraph is teaming up the New Hampshire Food Bank to raise money for a good cause.
