Most-Needed Items

We have many requests to know what our most needed items are.
Items include:
FRUIT (100% juice or no sugar added):
  • Canned Pineapple
  • Canned Pears
  • Apple Sauce

WHOLE GRAINS (First ingredient whole grain, no sugar added):

  • Brown or Wild Rice
  • Oatmeal
  • Cereals
  • Pasta

VEGETABLES (Low sodium or no salt added, no sugar added):

  • Canned Corn
  • Canned Tomatoes
  • Canned Carrots

PROTEIN (Low or no salt added, no sugar added):

  • Dried or Canned Beans
  • Canned Tuna/Chicken
  • Mixed Nuts
  • Peanut Butter

OTHER FOODS (Low or no sodium):

  • Soups
  • Broth
  • Spices
  • Dried Herb

We encourage retail-sized food donations (i.e. the sizes of items you’d pick up at your local grocery store for your family). Donations are distributed to individuals and families, so bulk items, such as very large bags of rice, beans, etc., are difficult to distribute.
