Food Stamps (SNAP*)
Need help with Food?
SNAP/Food Stamps Assistance
How Does It Work?
- Complete a SNAP application online or on the phone with a SNAP Outreach Coordinator.
- Gather your proofs: DHHS will send you a list of what they need. You will be given an appointment and told where to go.
- Keep your interview appointment at your local district office.
- Send in the proofs that DHHS has required in order to have a complete application. You may also bring them to your interview and hand them in, which is much easier.
For help applying or to get your questions answered, please call the SNAP Outreach line at 603-669-9725 ext. 1147. For questions about your current Food Stamp case, call the NH Department of Health and Human Services at 603-271-9700.
